The referendum for the Neighbourhood Plan was completed

on Wednesday 23rd August 2017.  

Residents of Poppleton voted over 90% in favour of

adopting the plan.

Locals Support the Lord Nelson.  A Community Action Group are working hard to build a business plan and raise funds to make a bid to save the pub from closure.  They have until 29/09/17 to make the bid.
